Citizens Format & Scoring: Classic Redpoint
- There will be ~45 boulders total to climb on, with #1 as the easiest and #45 as the hardest. You may climb on any of the climbs during the 3 hours of competition, and there is no order in which you must attempt climbs. You can have unlimited attempts on all climbs.
- You will be scored on your top 5 climbs during the 3 hours of competition. In order to get points, you must reach the "TOP" hold on each climb. A "TOP" means you completed the climb from the start hold(s) to the finish hold ("TOP") with no falls during your attempt.
- Each boulder's point value increases by 100 points by problem number. For example, boulder #1 is 100 points, boulder #2 is 200 points and so on up to boulder #45 at 4500 points.
- There is a 10 point flash bonus for any boulder you flash. A flash is climbing a boulder start to finish with no falls on your first attempt. Once your feet leave the ground, your attempt has begun.
- You have an unlimited number of attempts per boulder, but we will use number of attempts to break any ties in scoring. Your scorecard will have a box where you can mark number of attempts.
Included in the price of the comp:
- Hometown Heroes shirt, 1 drawing ticket, and 1 beer ticket (21+)
- FREE spectator pass for open qualis on Friday, November 1st, from 5-8 PM, and all day Saturday, November 2nd including open finals 7:00 PM
